MoveUp.co.za, a leading immigration consultancy, announces significant changes to the UK visa application process for South African applicants. As of October 23, 2024, VFS Global has taken over as the new commercial partner for UK visa applications in South Africa, replacing TLScontact.
Key Changes and Information
New Service Provider: VFS Global is now responsible for operating UK visa application centres in South Africa
Temporary Measure: MoveUp.co.za speculates that this additional fee may be temporary, as the introduction of eVisa applications on January 1, 2025, could potentially eliminate the need for Visa Application Centre (VAC) dealings.

VFS Global has established new VAC locations across South Africa.

- Durban: 3rd Floor, The Plaza, 45 Stiebel Place, Windermere, 4001
- Johannesburg: 3rd, Cnr Rivonia Boulevard and Mutual Road, Rivonia Village. Sandton
- Port Elizabeth: Greyville Hous, Greyville Road, Newtown Park, Port Elizabeth
- Pretoria: The Podium at Menlyn 4th Floor, 43 Ingersol Road, Lynnwood Glen, Pretoria
