1️⃣ Tech Nation is Gone

In March 2023, Tech Nation (the old endorsing body) shut down.
From 2025 onwards, new endorsing bodies + updated criteria are in place.

2️⃣ Stricter Reference Letters

You now need 3 reference letters that:

✔️ Come from senior experts (C-level, founders, or industry leaders)
✔️ Prove recent, direct working relationships
✔️ Clearly show your impact and achievements
✔️ Include specific examples (vague letters are an instant rejection)

3️⃣ Stronger Proof of Leadership or Innovation

Your CV, personal statement, and portfolio must prove:

✔️ High salary or exceptional work
✔️ Contributions to open-source projects, patents, publications
✔️ Speaking engagements, awards, press coverage
✔️ Impact on product growth, revenue, or user adoption

4️⃣ Prestigious Prizes Shortcut

If you hold certain internationally recognised awards (like ACM awards, Turing prizes, etc.),
you can skip the endorsement process entirely.
(Yes — straight to the visa stage!)

5️⃣ Faster Processing

Endorsements now take 3-4 weeks, instead of 8+ weeks in the past.
