Value Added Services

The British government have appointed a commercial agency, known as Teleperformance, to handle their front of house for visa submissions.

Teleperformance have been granted permission to offer additional services, that are optional, which come with an additional cost.

The basics of the product offerings that Move Up recommends are as followed:

• • Fast Track selected visas. Visitor visas and work permits most frequently used. Service offers an opportunity to speed up the decision making process, usually from 3 weeks to 1 week (in visitor visa cases) and from 3 months to 1 month (in Settlement visa cases).
  • Premium Lounge. This offers a slight VIP experience, giving applicants the opportunity to submit in a separate lounge (without queue).
  • Super Fast Track service. This is frequently used by large corporate executives who have last minute meetings, it is a 24 hour visa service. Only available to applicants in JHB or PTA.
  • Submit without Passport service. Popular for applicants also travelling to Europe (and require Schengen visas). Allows for South Africans to apply for two visas at the same time.

Based on our experience, the remaining services that Teleperformance offer do not offer much further value to South Africans.

Our least recommended service is the Teleperformance courier return service. Unnecessarily delayed, dispatched only from application centre (and not the visa officials offices in Pretoria). Too many clients opt for this service and receive no feedback. The delays often add more stress than it is worth.
