Meetings, conferences and other permitted business activities can create valuable opportunities. The important distinction is between visiting for an allowed activity and taking work in the UK.
Calling a journey a business visit does not establish that every task is permitted. The actual work or meetings planned should guide the route discussion.
Delivering services, undertaking an assignment or spending extended periods with a UK organisation may raise different questions from attending a meeting. Sponsorship, employment and visitor permission should not be treated as interchangeable.
