Only particular circumstances may support an extension. A wish to stay longer, new plans or time spent in the UK do not by themselves establish that an application is available.
Your current permission, its expiry and the reason for the proposed change need individual consideration. Do not assume that making an enquiry or starting a plan changes the conditions you currently hold.
